Aurélien Guiho

Aurélien Guiho er født i Redon (Frankrig) i 1986.

Han har udstillet og solgt sine kunstværker talrige steder i Frankrig, men også i lande som England, Tyskland og altså Danmark.

Aurélien Guiho bor og arbejder nu i Paris.

Kunstgalleriet i Slagelse har arbejdet sammen med Aurélien – eller 121185129514 som er hans signatur på værkerne – siden vores store udstilling i 2021; ”The French Connection” som omfattede over 30 franske kunstnere. Aurélien er fortsat som fast kunstner hos os.

Aurélien Guiho /  121185129514 arbejder meget med skulpturer og relieffer – ofte i form af 3D print – som han finder inspiration til i film og tegneserier.

 

Han har selv følgende kommentar til sit kunstneriske virke:

The number, identifed as the language specific to the consumer society of everyday life, where the consumer passively experiences the product’s advertising, the artist 121185129514 demands the audience’s vivacity to understand and translate this coding.

Questions about mass consumption, the body of the object, or even the environment evolve through the nomore, multiplied, accumulated, superimposed, deconstructed, stripped, etc.

It is always a question of questioning the energy and economic needs of our contemporary societies and visualizing the industrial and ecological challenges resulting from production methods.

Use of techniques and various materials such as 3D printing, a category grouping the aesthetic activities of manipulating plastic forms and volumes, such as sculpture.
